  • 1 small Onion, Quartered
  • salt and Pepper
  • 1 Bay Leaf
  • 1 tablespoon Butter
  • 1 tablespoon Flour
  • 1⁄2 cup Milk
  • 2 tablespoons Cream
  • 2 ounces Cheddar Cheese, grated, divided
